Email any all-day absences or partial-day absences by 9am. If you notify us that your student is out of school due to illness, please briefly detail symptoms of illness in your email to ckattend@srvusd.net. If any of the symptoms described are in the daily attestation, refer to the COVID Decision Tree or next steps. If you choose not to include illness details in your email to the office, you will receive an email or a call from us asking for more information. It is our responsibility to maintain the health and safety of our school community and we ask for your cooperation. Your student’s private health information will not be shared beyond administrative or nursing staff.
Our Book Fair is online! The Book Fair helps our students and rewards our school with much-needed resources. Consider donating a book and visit the Classroom and Library Wish List. Some teachers have not created a wish list, but will welcome any book for their classroom library!
GREAT NEWS! If you enrolled your child for 2021-22 Kindergarten by February 19th, there is space for your child at Coyote Creek in 2021-22. There will not be a lottery.

About Us
Coyote Creek Elementary is located in the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon. With a tradition of excellence and a desire to provide a high-quality education to all students, Coyote Creek is proud of the programs and resources it offers.
Students here are challenged to be the best that they can be. They are supported in this goal by a committed, caring staff who believes that "all children are our children". This commitment to students is shared by an involved parent community. We have PTA and the Coyote Creek Learning Fund both actively involved in supporting the work being done in our classrooms.
Coyote Creek has received many distinctions for our great work. We are one of three elementary schools in SRVUSD to have received the most recent California Distinguished School Award.
We are a dynamic and diverse community that values students as individuals and promotes an environment where all students can achieve academic, social, and emotional success in order to be well prepared for college and careers.
Coyote Creek Vision
We envision a diverse school community that values the whole child by meeting their academic, social, and emotional needs. We will prepare students for the future by providing them with a safe, engaging, challenging, and emotionally supportive environment. With a dedicated staff and parent community we will strive to develop students who will become lifelong learners and are able to meet the growing changes of the future.
